What Sells More?

By Trina Sonnenberg of AdsOnQ

What Sells More? What gets you to open your wallet; a 60 second commercial break, or a 60 minute infomercial? The infomercial is an attention grabber; why? Because it provides the viewer with information that they are interested in. They see a solution to a problem they may have, or may have in the future.

So, now that we have established the fact that an infomercial is more powerful than a 60 second ad spot, let me ask this: What is more likely to make you open your wallet; a five line classified, or an informational article that takes you to a web site that will solve your issue?

Do you have faith in your web site copy to sell what you've got to offer? If so, you need article marketing as an advertising solution to drive traffic to your site. Give them what they want.... INFORMATION!

Show them you are an expert in solving their problem and give them your web site to sell them on your solution. People want information. No one wants to be a blind consumer anymore. Resources won't allow people to throw their money around unless they feel it is a sure thing. Prove to them that your stuff is a sure thing. Article marketing is the online advertising solution that will help you do that.

I am a freelance commercial writer by trade, married mother of two and author of two books. My Journey and Forever and Always... Both can be found on Amazon.com. I write commercial copy for Internet marketer's and syndicate the content on my RSS feed. http://ads-on-q.com

Thank you for sharing this information on article marketing , Trina. I need to learn how to get the best benefits from my articles, connect them to our website and add to our customers information and entertainment, when the article isn't about our products.
Keep up the good work.
Best wishes.
Frederick

I see what you are saying Trina, and I have considered getting into article marketing, but I have always been scared of it (don't ask me why)- but it keeps popping up everywhere I go! Perhaps trying to tell me something; your intel appearing today, for instance - just another reminder to me!
I guess I should just take the bull by the horns and do it!
